Were
you ever at a musical
instrument store, wanting to pick up a piece a
gear, but you aren't 100% sure it's going to be the right choice? You wait and
pace around for agonizing minutes trying to get the store's sales help to give
you a shred of attention. They finally do, and you realize their answer doesn't
make sense to you. In fact, you are starting to wonder if they
know what they are talking about! Sweat drips as you pull out the credit
card, about to make a major purchase and an inner voice shouts out "Dude, what
are you doing?". The clerk stares at you with the look of "hurry up, dweeb!" You
either run from the store screaming "Why is everything so *bleeping* HARD, or
pray to the gods you made the right choice.
No worries.
Whip out your iPhone, click "catalog", get the real factory fresh price (not to
some open box returnee), links to specs, and to Tweak's and other's
conversations. No pressure. No confusion. Get the right gear
the first time. If you are really new you can read the mini guide (under
construction) right on the fly.
TweakHeadz Lab and Studio-Central are affiliated with zZounds to bring you
the ultimate online shopping experience for those interested in home studio
gear. And its not just shopping. It's learning about gear as each forum is
linked to tutorials, FAQs, reviews, How-Tos and everything else at the Lab!
Finally, if all this isn't enough, Tweak's forums are about making friends,
contacts, sharing tips, songs, and ideas. Tweak sez: I have actively
participated on studio bulletin boards since the days of DOS and modems. I
worked really hard and put a LOT of thought into creating what I think is the
perfect online community for those who are have or are interested in home studio gear.
Then I implemented the sites, refined and improved them. Now I really have it
wired! umm. I mean Wireless!
TweakHeadz Lab was born in the Spring of 1999, formerly
known as Rich's MIDI and Audio Lab (which began in 1996). The forums
at Studio-central.com followed in September of 2002.
If you really want to learn about music technology, there is no better place!
I welcome you to these pages made specifically for the iPhone and other
